HR Team Lead, Fintech Industry
A leading FinTech and IT Advisory firm requires a strong, culturally aware, Japanese ? English bilingual HR Manager to join their Tokyo team in a leadership capacity.
In this role, you will report directly to the local COO, working across Business leaders, supporting a company size of 300+ local staff. Joining a growing venture firm, you will manage a team of four operational HR professionals and work alongside another HR Business Partner as the senior HR leads.
Manage visa process, on/off boarding for new and current staff (including application process, tracking renewal and compliance with regulatory agencies)
Work with HR colleagues to reconcile and update all details with payroll and social insurance vendor
Maintain policy and HR compliance in line with Japanese ER and Labor Law

Bachelor degree and a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience (employee relations, training and development, C&B, coaching/counselling, change management, recruiting etc.) in the Japan HR Market
Knowledge of the Japan labor regulatory environment, labor law and reporting requirements related to Human Resources
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both Japanese and English, with the ability to relate with all levels of staff and management
Must possess a strong attention to detail and writing skills in Japanese - English
Strong project management skill with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain professional demeanor and composure under potentially stressful situations
Must demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
Interest in working in growing company, in high-tech venture environment
